Your health and well-being are of the utmost importance and we are taking measures to keep the WCAR a safe environment for employees as well as the individuals attending classes and the public. Therefore, when coming into the office your temperature will be taken and you will be asked to answer the following questionnaire. Student Release Form
Students are responsible for the performance of their own technology including audio volume, video clarity, and reliable internet connection. We use the Zoom platform. For more information about Zoom, please check their website at www.zoom.us. Video, audio, and internet access are all needed to successfully “attend” class. January 2020 WCAR became a paperless education environment.
HOW A PAPERLESS CLASSROOM WORKS: Class handouts and designation manuals will be made available in your Course Reminder email (sent 2-3 days before class) in a couple of ways: PDF attachments OR emailed to you as a secure Dropbox link (used for large documents). You are encouraged to bring your device to view the material digitally or feel free to bring a printed copy for yourself.
All WCAR courses delivered in a live instructor-led classroom or virtual setting should have a minimum of ten (10) registered students for the course to proceed. If there are fewer than ten (10) registered students, the course may be canceled and re-scheduled. Cancellations and/or rescheduling should occur no later than three (3) business days from the course start date. Click the link to read the full policy. Minimum Attendance Policy
Written cancellation must be provided at least 48 hours in advance to our Professional Development Director (firstname.lastname@example.org). The Association does not offer refunds but will hold a credit toward future education of the same category.
