Kathie Moore is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and Medical College of Georgia with a Master of Science in Nursing. After a successful career in nursing, teaching nursing at Union University, the University of Tennessee at Martin, Medical College of Georgia, and serving as CEO of Northwest Counseling Center for 12 years, Kathie was a Management Consultant for four years prior to becoming a REALTOR®. She has been licensed in Tennessee for 22 years, with a broker’s license for 4 years.
Kathie has been a member of WCAR since 1998. Kathie was named REALTOR of the Year in 2003. She was selected for Leadership TAR in 2006. During her time with WCAR, she has served on a variety of committees including the Scholarship Committee, the Education Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors including President of the Board in 2008. Kathie has also served on the Board of Realtracs Solutions for six years, including being Secretary of the Board for two years. In addition to her work with committees, Kathie is a Licensed Real Estate Instructor in Tennessee, teaching CORE and Pre-Licensing. She currently serves WCAR on the Budget Committee and the Board of Directors of the REALTOR® Good Works Foundation.
Kathie and her husband Jackie have lived in Franklin for 25 years. They have four children and four grandchildren, ages 4-9. When not selling real estate, Kathie has served on the Board of Franklin Tomorrow for six years, serving as President for three years. She has also chaired Franklin Tomorrow’s Volunteer Awards for five years and chaired the Franklin Tomorrow Vision City Visit Committee for five years.
Kathie has watched WCAR grow from a small association to a mid-size association. As she looks towards the future, she sees shifts in our business models which will create challenges for all associations. She would like to be a part of the team who faces the challenges head-on and finds solutions to keep our Association strong and viable for our membership.
