The Rob Report: November 2018
November 2018
WCAR Members!
Here’s hoping your summer is off to a productive and enjoyable start. From my years selling real estate, I know how busy things get over the summer months. There always seems to be an opportunity to take or a problem to solve. The best advice I can offer is to not forget to stop and smell the roses, or the petunias or whatever flower is your favorite. Be sure to take care of yourself and your family as well as your customers over these busy months.
Here at WCAR, we’d like to offer an opportunity that will give you a chance to get deeply involved in the association and get to know your fellow REALTORS® a little better at the same time. WCAR will be holding its’ third annual Leadership Academy, beginning August 8th. This is a great chance to learn about WCAR, the Williamson County community and political scene, our state and national associations and how volunteer involvement can help you become a more productive REALTOR®.
The Academy is a series of four morning sessions, held on consecutive Wednesdays in August. You will hear from a wide variety of people who will educate you about the association and the communities you serve.
We need your application by July 15th…..so please check out the information provided within this newsletter and strongly consider getting involved with a few of your peers. Fill out the application and return it to us as soon as possible. The Leadership Academy is limited to 15 participants, so it is a very exclusive group of folks who want to learn and grow.
Past participants serve on our Board of Directors and on various Committees and Task Forces at WCAR, along with being involved in various WCAR networking events throughout the year. I can assure you that the more involved you become, the more business you will generate. You will get to know peers, staff and community leaders who will be helpful in growing your career.

Thanks for listening, and please have a wonderful summer!
Respectfully,
