The Rob Report: November 2018
November 2018
WCAR Members!
As the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® continues to grow and become a force, I am pleased to announce the addition of two outstanding members to our team. Carlee Greene has joined us as our Communications Director, and has a background in Legislative work and Communications/Marketing. She is already doing an outstanding job. I love that she is proactive about influencing positive change in all our communication vehicles, from the website to our weekly newsletters and updates. Look for lots of improvements in the weeks and months to come!
Glenn Killey has just joined us as our new Education Director. He has a background in teaching, motivational speaking and in association leadership. Glenn comes to us from San Antonio, Texas and is bursting with good ideas and enthusiasm for driving our Education Department to new heights. I am thrilled to have him on board! Please be sure to stop by and say hello to our new team members and offer any suggestions you might have for making our services to you, the members, even better.
We’d love to see those of you who sell in the higher end, or want to make that leap, take part in the upcoming Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist class that will be hosted here at WCAR on March 1-2. Call us, or take-a-look on the website for more details. Those who have taken this class say it has helped transition their approach to luxury market sales and more than paid for itself. The class is limited to the first 75 registrants, so let us know if you want to take part. This is the very first time the CLHMS class has been offered anywhere in Tennessee. It is filling up fast!!
Finally, we’d love to see lots of you at our first annual Celebration of Excellence Awards on February 24th at the Cool Springs Marriott. You’ll get a chance to mingle with your friends, enjoy a great dinner, celebrate award winners and hear a great band, “Rubic’s Groove” as they play their spot on ‘80’s cover songs for your entertainment and dancing. Hurry and get your tickets before we are sold out.
As always, thank you for all you do to make WCAR the outstanding association that it has become. It’s a joint effort between your Leadership, Staff and you as members. Let’s keep the momentum going through 2018!
